Welcome to Merlion Finch Bakery! These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our online platform and services provided by Merlion Finch Bakery. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting our online platform, browsing our offerings, placing an order for handcrafted breads, bespoke cakes, pastries, savouries, specialty coffees, custom catering, signing up for baking classes, or purchasing seasonal confectionery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, alongside our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Merlion Finch Bakery offers a range of artisanal bakery products and services including, but not limited to:
- Handcrafted breads
- Bespoke cakes for various occasions
- A selection of pastries and savouries
- Specialty coffees
- Custom catering for events
- Baking classes

3. Orders and Payments
All orders placed through our online platform or directly with Merlion Finch Bakery are subject to acceptance and availability.
- Pricing: All prices are listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are subject to change without prior notice.
- Payment: Payment for all orders must be made in full at the time of order placement, unless otherwise agreed for custom catering services.
- Custom Orders (Cakes/Catering): Specific terms regarding deposits, final payment, and cancellation policies for bespoke cakes and catering will be provided in a separate agreement or quote.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Our cancellation and refund policy varies depending on the type of product or service:
- Standard Products: Orders for standard bakery items may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up/delivery time for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours will not be eligible for a refund.
- Bespoke Cakes & Catering: Cancellation terms are detailed in the specific quote or agreement for these services. Generally, a non-refundable deposit may be required, and full payment may become non-refundable within a certain period before the event.
- Baking Classes: Cancellations for baking classes must be made at least 7 days in advance for a full refund or reschedule. Cancellations within 7 days may result in a forfeiture of the class fee.
- Quality Issues: If you are not satisfied with the quality of our products, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with details and photographic evidence. We will evaluate each case individually and may offer a replacement or credit at our discretion.
5. Allergen Information
Merlion Finch Bakery handles ingredients such as wheat, nuts, dairy, and eggs in our kitchen. While we take precautions to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free of allergens.
It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions when placing an order. We are not liable for any allergic reactions or health issues arising from the consumption of our products.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on our online platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and product designs, is the property of Merlion Finch Bakery or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
Merlion Finch Bakery shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or inability to use our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, even if Merlion Finch Bakery has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our liability to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to us for the services during the three (3) month period prior to any cause of action arising.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
9. Changes to Terms
Merlion Finch Bakery reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for any updates.
